Bed Bug Dog & Bed Bug Inspection
A bed bug inspection shows bed bugs are being detected in homes, multi-family dwellings , assisted living facilities, libraries, hotels, college dorms and retail stores. This resurgence has been attributed to a ban on certain pesticides, the increased ease of international travel, as well as a more transient way of life.
One of the most time effective and economical tools in the bed bug fighting arsenal is the use of a trained, certified bed bug dog A.K.A. canine detection teams. Scent detection dogs have been used for years to locate bombs, drugs and even cancer and they are now being deployed to sniff out bed bugs.
A bed bug dog’s sense of smell is over 10,000 times keener than that of a human. Imagine walking into a bakery and you smell the bread baking. A dog walks into the bakery and smells the individual ingredients: flour, yeast, salt. This amazing sense of smell allows a trained bed bug dog to detect bed bugs with a much higher degree of accuracy and in a much shorter amount of time than a human inspector could ever hope for.
Bed Bug Inspection
Because a bed bug inspection using a canine team is much more likely to detect a bed bug than a visual only inspection, you can eradicate the problem early, before it spreads throughout your home or property.
